Happy New Year one and all!
Apologies for another period of absence, this was due to illness and the hectic run up to Christmas. I hope everyone is well and have been enjoying the festive period. I had a lovely Christmas, where I got to watch my youngest sister, aged seven, leafing over the copy of The Nutcracker we had bought for her, a Christmas story of which I have always held dear. My father also gifted me A Christmas Carol, The Night Before Christmas and my own copy of The Nutcracker (a proper grown up one, without pop up pictures!). Last night, we had a very festive New Years Eve and today I find myself refreshed and contemplative about the last year. My Godson and nephew arrived. I finished my first novel. I got a promotion at work. I went on a once in a lifetime family holiday to Disneyland Paris. I started this blog. I have much to be grateful for, but am motivated to achieve more.
I don’t really believe in New Years resolutions, but I want to push as hard as possible to achieve my dream this year, to publish my first novel and hopefully finish my second. I have a long way to go but I am optimistic and ready to work hard. WordPress gave me a year in review, collating my reading statistics etc. I have published this below and want to thank all who have joined me here, for your feedback, thoughts and support; it is much appreciated and I look forward to writing more for you.
All the best for 2016 everyone!
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 370 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 6 trips to carry that many people.
